I'm the artist behind Made Of Art! I'm a self-taught acrylic painter based out of Evergreen, Colorado. I primarily work with acrylics but I use fabrics and different mediums throughout my work.Without formal academic training,I develop my artwork through experimentation and observation.

I started painting around 2016 but didn’t develop my art style until 2022. I find my painting style to be a blend of contemporary figurative mixed media with pop surrealist and fashion-influenced elements. Every piece is uniquely created by me!
Since I am a self taught artist, I have learned to develop my skills through independent, self-directed learning rather than formal art school.Practice makes perfect.

StatementIn just the 2 short years Made Of Art has been around Emily Gallegos has be apart of many opportunities. The first year of Made Of Art, Emily was featured in Evergreen Living Magazine, a guest on Fox News Day Break, and invited to auction off one of her pieces at the Center Of The Arts on Colfax for their LGBTQIA+ fashion show event.Emily is very proud of what she has been able to accomplish and can’t wait to see where the future takes Made Of Art.
